Like the saying goes... always a bridesmaid.. never a bride!!  in my case it's always a finalist never a winner!

So yeah... i didn't win the Linen & Lace competition... but still pretty happy to have been a finalist.  But anyway.. above are the winners and below is a short video they made of the finalist dresses.

SETAREH MOHTAREZ

I stumbled across this collection "Brightness Dawn" by Setareh Mohtarez, through just a lazy morning blog.  I'm was blown away by the sculptural detail, and am loving the cross between galaxy print, and what i would imagine your clothes would like look if you got caught in the Indian festival "Holi".

FINALIST - LINEN & LACE

soooo stoked... i made it to the finals for the Tessuti Awards!!

Now i just have to post in my dress so they can scrutinise my sewing !!!! slightly terrified, but optimistic :) 

MARINA STREET STYLE

Just a little bit of street style at the marina, from the lovely Kate.  Sporting a white singlet, cuffed jeans, and some killer suede orange platforms.  You can get the shoes on ebay!! I just ordered mine in baby blue.. and i might be back for some green and orange :)
